Finnish superstars Super8 & Tab are back with the first release from their debut artist album and the eagerly awaited follow-up to ‘Delusion’ and last year’s smash hit ‘Elektra’. Taking its title from the Maldivian paradise of the same name, ‘Irufushi’ is yet another stormer from Miika and Janne; elements of the DNA from its predecessor are evident as its grinding groove and fleeting vocal effects drive it towards a textbook energy-building breakdown, before it bursts into life with a euphoric detonation of peak-time synths.
Next up Ashley Wallbridge checks in for the second remix, and works up a progressive-minded number full of peaks and troughs.
Launching the adrenaline levels into the stratosphere on the second remix is Sean Tyas; full-on bass, beats and a futuristic breakdown morph ‘Irufushi’ into an unrelenting, uncompromising main-roomer.

We just want to say a massive thank you to all those who supported us in this year’s DJ Magazine Top 100 DJ Poll and Trance Addict 250 Poll. This year marks our first time breaking into the DJ Mag Top100, climbing from #115 in 2008 to #82 in this year’s poll - a truly memorable feat for us. Additionally to this we have also received news that we have found similar support among the TranceAddict community, whose voters lifted us from #67 to #46 for 2009. Receiving the news about both these poll positions and reflecting back on 2008/2009, we just want to extend our gratitude for all the support and love you guys have shown us in recent times.
The past 12 months have been an incredible period for us from being invited to perform at milestone events like World #1 DJ Armin van Buuren’s ASOT 400 Tour to playing b2b with one of our idols Ferry Corsten at his stunning Full on Ferry event. We also had the honour playing some incredible festivals in Future Music (Australia), Mayday (Poland), Planetlove Festival (N.Ireland), Soundtropolis and many many more, and not forgetting those breath taking club dates at Godskitchen, The Gallery (Ministry of Sound), Digital Society, Inside Out, Gatecrasher and continuing to hold our international residency for Anjunabeats Worldwide Tour performing regularly alongside global dominators Above & Beyond.
Musically the step forward over 2008/2009 has been an exciting journey for us, both from a production point of view but also as DJs. Recent tracks ‘Suru’ and ‘Delusion’ gathered a lot of support for our music from many of our peers and also clubbers. We also were picked to remix two separate tracks for two of our all-time favourite artists; Ferry Corsten’s ‘Made of Love’ and Paul van Dyk’s ‘Nothing but You’.
So once again we just want to thank you for your continued support and look forward to partying with you well into 2010.

The last few of months have been a nonstop rollercoaster of parties and unquestionably our biggest start to a year ever! From great parties at the likes of Inside Out, Godskitchen, Club Volume in Seoul, The Gallery @ the hugely impressive Ministry of Sound club in London and Armin van Buuren's ASOT anniversary over in Rotterdam, we also completed out biggest tour to date of Australia: playing at no lesson than 7 amazing shows for Future Music Festival – wow, what a tour that was!!! Australia is truly one of the most beautiful countries we have been privileged enough to perform in and the beaches are just unreal!

The next couple of weeks see us taking some time out to get our heads into the studio. We've just put the finish touches to our 2nd remix for Paul van Dyk, this time around we had the privilege to re-rub one of our all-time favourites 'Nothing but You'. We played it last week at Club Volume and the crowd went mental, so have high ups for this to be a big track for us over the summer :)
As for new material of our own, well there's a new single schedule for Anjunabeats for mid-July but as yet the track is still a work in progress but hoping have completed it over the next two weeks. We are also working on some high class remixes for this one...more details on that to follow
Oh and for those curious about the album....it's still coming along but a completion date is still not in sight (sorry). We've lots of tracks still at the demo stage and some good collaborations with vocalist but more updates on this over the summer once we've managed to schedule in a break for album work.
